Castaics took the stage at OC Tavern to celebrate the life of Roger Fowler, and you could feel the history behind every song. Roger spent years playing music, skateboarding, and growing up alongside close friend Ryan Nichols. Their friendship was built over countless hours of rehearsals, sessions, and shared adventures, and that connection was evident throughout the set.
Roger’s influence reached far, and the love shown for him was impossible to miss. Thank you, Castaics, for giving your friend the tribute he deserved.

Røbber brought the perfect mix of intensity, heart, and raw energy to the stage during the Celebration of Life for Roger Fowler. It was friends, family, and a local music community coming together to honor someone who meant so much to so many. Star Strangled Bastards taking the stage at OC Tavern was something we never thought we’d see. A band that was a huge part of our lives decades ago are back! Not just for a reunion, but to honor the life of our friend, Roger Fowler.
It was a night filled with memories, laughter, stories, and songs that instantly transported us back in time. Roger would have loved every second of it.
Thank you to everyone who made this celebration so special. Some friendships never fade, and neither does great punk music.
Rest easy, Roger. You were loved, and you’ll never be forgotten.
