Pierce The Veil

At Vans Warped Tour there is never a dull, or silent moment. Consistent yelling from fans as their favorite bands enter the stage, to the shrieks when they meet their favorite band member or YouTuber. Nothing less was expected once the headliners of the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, Pierce the Veil, ran onto the stage. Energetically bouncing around the stage performing their recently released single “Divine Zero.” Along the line of the barricade you could see young girls thrown into tears upon seeing people they idolized in the same vicinity as them.

Originally from San Diego, the members of Pierce the Veil are no strangers to the Warped Tour Stage. Having played Vans Warped Tour in 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2015, Pierce the Veil has made a lasting impression on spectator’s, enough so to make them 2015’s headliners. Smoke machines, and confetti made the experience that much better for the fans. With unexpected confetti flying into the air, it made you jump and make your heart race even more. Pierce the Veil’s tour crew deserves a round of applause along with the band. Fast changes to change confetti into smoke, to the amazing stage set up, the tour crew did absolutely fantastic.

Consistently moving the crowd with the raw emotion in his voice, lead singer Vic Fuentes, filled the space with his intense vocals, keeping the audience captivated during the whole song. After lead guitarist, Tony Perry, was injured in a mountain biking incident, it made him incapable to play a majority of Vans Warped Tour, to make a speedy recovery. Although he was not there for the Holmdel date, he did perform at the 2015 Reading and Leeds festival in the United Kingdom. Although the shoes of Tony Perry are big ones to fill, touring guitarist Jesse Barrera, filled those shoes extremely well. Filling the stage with energy, bassist Jaime Preciado, was all smiles on stage, bouncing around and never seeming to get tired. With the intense beats of drummer Mike Fuentes, he carried the band giving them an extra push while being the base of their sound.

There were and are no bad things to say about any performance Pierce the Veil gives. The sheer raw power in the vocals, and melodies of the instruments, it is a soothing sound to your ears. Allegedly Pierce the Veil’s fourth studio album should be released within the upcoming year. Fans got a sneak peak of this album through their single “The Divine Zero,” teasing fans with what will come on their new album. Pierce the Veil’s past studio albums are available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon or anywhere else you buy your music. You can also stream their music on Spotify or Apple Music.
